How canoe collection and accessory delivery work, and what to expect.
Last updated: 7 September 2026
Most canoes are collected direct from our Hertford workshop as part of your order. If you're ordering an accessory or piece of merchandise and need it sent to you, here's how delivery works.
Sent by Royal Mail second class or ParcelForce 48 to a single UK address, typically taking 1–2 days. We may occasionally use Royal Mail Special Delivery or another carrier for a faster service. Deliveries to remote areas — the Highlands, Grampians and all islands, including the Isle of Wight — aren't classed as mainland UK and may take a little longer.
Paddle boxes are too large to go through the standard post, so these are sent with a courier such as ParcelForce, FedEx or DX.
Once a parcel is with a carrier we can't guarantee delivery times, though carriers meet their obligations in the vast majority of cases. Deliveries to remote areas, particularly the Highlands and Islands, can take 5–7 days as a minimum.
Given their size, weight, and the risk of damage in transit, we don't currently offer a courier delivery service for canoes. You're welcome to arrange and pay for your own courier collection if you're not able to collect in person. Before your canoe is wrapped for collection, we're happy to walk you through it on video so you can check you're completely happy with it first.
We don't currently offer a standard shipping service outside the UK, but please get in touch — we've arranged canoe shipments as far as Australia under special arrangement before, and we're happy to see what's possible.
